Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery
Located in Celina, Tennessee, Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery has been producing trout for conservation and recreational fishing programs since 1965. The hatchery was created to help replace fishery resources affected by federal water development projects in the Southeast and has become one of the most important trout production facilities in the region.
Each year, Dale Hollow raises more than one million trout that are stocked into public waters across Tennessee and neighboring states. The hatchery helps support recreational fishing opportunities while also contributing to the conservation of imperiled freshwater fish and mussel species.
